45th Class Reunion Weekend Recap

The total number of Class of 1979 classmates that attended one or both of the events at the Broadway Tavern and/or at the Centralia Elks is 85. There were a few additional attendees from other CHS classes, as well as spouses and significant others attending the events.

The number of 85 classmates is our best guess, because to be honest, this year the Reunion Committee tried to be 'present and participate' in all events and we could have missed a few people in our counts.

Our official class size was 336; the number of deceased classmates per our records at the time of the reunion is 56.

 

Raffle tickets:
The raffle was a huge success! Thank you to Dana Stock, Keith Shaw, Jay Johns, Mary Beth Hake for your generous donations. We raised $650 for the Centralia High School Band and Color Guard program! 

45th Class Reunion Weekend Information:

Friday. September 27:
8:30 a.m. - Golf outing at Greenview Golf Course 
6:00 p.m. to 11 p.m.(ish)  - Broadway Tavern (closed to the public). Music will be provided by our own Lori Buckman

 

Saturday, September 28:

10:30 a.m. - Tour of the new high school and the stained glass windows from the old high school. 

11:30 a.m. - Lunch and Trivia at the Broadway Tavern. for lunch (pizza and salad) and trivia.  After we are all fed, we will divide into our grade school classes to compete in a 70's trivia game. We will play 3 rounds of 10 questions with each grade school sitting together. 

5:30 p.m. - Centralia Elks Club. Doors open at 5:30, dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Music will be provided our own Lori Buckman

 

Raffle tickets:
We will be selling raffle tickets all weekend, with the drawing Saturday evening. You need not be present to claim your prize. Tickets will be $1 each, or 6 for $5. All proceeds will go to CHS flag corp and the marching showcase. Please buy lots of tickets so we can proudly give back to our school.
